Lives and works in Blois

/
Manipulator of signs and images, Rémi Boinot, borrows both in Western cultures and Asian or African. Through A protean work (video, sound, writing, painting, installation, sculpture-assembly, photography, staging...), he probes what connects our daily life to politics, between choice and compromise. Adept in the collage of meaning, the telescoping of realities, symbolic associations and language games, he examines the other, the stranger, between dissimilarity and kinship. With an incisive plastic sagacity, it highlights what makes common sense or atomizes communities. His works are revelators, sort of ironic precipitates of our weaknesses but also of our startles.
