Gracie Mansion

Bing bomb, the bells are gonna chime
As William Shakespeare said "All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely cherries".
But immediately the apples of cezanne come to mind - green, orange, red - image of time passing by and of uncertain future.
In the book of Genesis, however, where Jehova is generous, with jealousy, the grapes of Canaan promise eternal riches : "He that soweth the wind, will reap Steinbeck"! And who could ever, on a hot summer day, forget about the aid of lemon. Let it be still alive on a Dutch painting or lively more in the arms of seductive Olympia. "Go a catch a falling star", understand the apple of Magritte, the peach of John Gay, and the pears of England. "Away, away, for I will fly to thee, more happy, happy chery." Everything thou art : emblematically, mysterious, agressively victorious, neurotically obsessive, game with forbidden fruits. At the door of the gallery, in the gallery, hidden behind the corner, exposed to the crowd, everywhere you can be found. Alone in this "Age of Innocence" : "Life is just a bowl of virgins". They take off ans splash ans spatter in splendor. They sing their ambitious song : "Cherry, je t'aime". They make up their own story talking about nothing but themselves.
Didn't you know it ? This time has come ! Their time has come : le temps des cerises, le temps des cerises!
