In just a few years, Paréidolie’s deliberately short, intimate and convivial format has made it one of the most important art fairs on the market, where discoveries match the curiosity of the eye, where the constraints of space are transformed into demands for quality, and where collectors, institutions and the general public enjoy meeting up at the end of summer and the dawn of a new artistic season!

Paréidolie takes over the entire walls of the Château de Servières in Marseille’s 4th arrondissement, an area of almost 1,000 m² shared between the 16 selected galleries, the guest artists and structures, the bookshop-debate-meeting spaces and, of course, a place to relax, meet and eat.

The selection of galleries is entrusted to an independent artistic committee, comprising collectors, artists, curators and gallery owners: Nicolas Daubanes, Thierry Forien, Josée Gensollen, Laurent Godin, Pascal Neveux, Marine Pagés, Michèle Sylvander and Gérard Traquandi.

The three days of the show are punctuated by a press visit and a program of meetings, visits and evenings in the city’s museums, at the Frac Sud, Cité de l’art contemporain, and in partner sites of the Saison du Dessin, to which collectors, institutions and personalities from the art world are invited.
